On Friday Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan said that the government should bring an ordinance to modify the decision which have taken by the Supreme Court about the reservation of job for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) communities. These issues should be included in the Ninth Schedule of the Constitution to support them. He also said that the government was considering about the review against Supreme Court decision and was talking about legal opinion.
From some report there is a chance that the matter will go to the court. But it is not confirmed that it will get success or not. Paswan said that there should be issue of an ordinance. According to him amendment in the Constitution should be there. His remarks came out when apex court made a rule that states are not allowed to make reservations for ST and SC.
Supreme Court is saying that to provide the reservation for the jobs to ST and SC are the parts of the Constitution. To modify the decision of Supreme Court an ordinance should be brought and there should be amendment in the Constitution. All these matters have declared by the Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution minister. LJP Chief Ram Vilas Paswan has also put the matters in Lok Sabha and demanded that all matters related to ST and SC should be included in Ninth Schedule.
