Mamta Banergee Not Invited For The Launch Of East-West Kolkata Metro

 

On Friday West Bengal Chief Minister Mamta Banerjee expressed displeasure because she was not invited in the inauguration of the East-West Metro Corridor. She insisted that her team had to shed tears to accept the project when she was Railway Minister. On Thursday the first phase of the corridor transport was flagged by Railway Minister Piyush Goyal. In that inauguration TMC get missed out because in the invitation list the name of Mamta Banergee was not written.

 

 

 

In the state assembly Mamta Banerjee said that they had done hard work for this project and had shed tears for the approval of it. She also said that she felt not good as there was no invitation for me. She was the Railway Minister from 2009 to 2011. The first phase of metro project will connect a 4.88-km stretch between Sector V of Salt Lake  the IT hub of the city with Salt Lake Stadium.

 

 

 

Mamta Banerjee used slam words for the CPI(M) and Congress for politically surrendering before the BJP. She criticised the opposition parties in West Bengal for the political pollution. She also said that some parties are strong but Congress party has no any existence  in this state. She said that she will request to other chief ministers to not conduct the National Population Register (NPR) because it is the introduction of NRC.
