1. Learn to respect:
Being in a workplace filled with hierarchy requires a bit of adjustment. ’Give respect and Take respect’ is fundamental of any type of work environment.
It’s one of the fundamental rules of office relationships. You can earn good friends by respecting your colleagues and their feelings.
Once you develop this then you in turn will be respected for your virtues.
Act responsibly. If you want your colleagues to like and respect you, you need to make sure that you are doing your job well. No one appreciates a co-worker who shirks their responsibilities. Make a point to finish your work on time.
Focus on being positive . Positivity is attractive and contagious, and it will help strengthen your relationships with your colleagues. No one wants to be around someone who’s negative all the time.
Try to provide as much advance notice as possible when going out of or taking days off. Let your boss plan for this as much as possible and of course, only take sick days when really needed. Successful executives need reliable consistent people who aren’t going to take advantage of their time.

7 Take lunch together:
Once in a while you could take your colleague out for lunch or have a coffee break together. Breaks in any form whether coffee or lunch is needed to be away from desk.
8.Not only away from desk but also share with your friends who are your colleagues or boss. By associating during such events it will help to build better relationships.
